My Story
I’m Destiny Hodges, a filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist working across film, photography, fashion, and music. Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised moving between the East and West Coasts, constantly experiencing new environments shaped the way I see and understand the world. Moving so often taught me to recognize beauty in the mundane; to notice the small details, textures, people, and places that might otherwise go unnoticed, and transform them into something that makes you stop and pay attention. That perspective has led me to study Film Studies at Pace University, where I earned my undergraduate degree, and now to pursue a master’s in Media Studies through the Parsons School of Design at The New School. Across my work, I explore the intersection of music, fashion, image, and movement, translating the emotions and experiences I encounter into visual worlds that feel immersive, unexpected, and memorable.
